Thicker Than H20 (Full-Feature Film)

 

Brothers, who share the same father, but have two different mothers (one who doesn’t quite care for the other), scheme to find a way to get their family on a vacation together.  They enter a contest and win a one-week vacation at a beautiful 6-bedroom resort, but lie about the presence of either family’s invite to share this vacation.  When everyone arrives, all hell breaks loose and the boys plead with everyone to be civil for one week and to enjoy the vacation for the time being.  They try, but of course, during the week of activities, no one can get along.

 

Raising Gems

 

A woman who suffers with Schizo-affective disorder abruptly abandons her three children, causing her ex-husband; their father, to make a much wanted comeback into their lives, after a seven-year absence.

x“Raising Gems”, the series, is a family drama that deals with such social ills as mental health, parent/child relationships, sibling rivalry, dating, teen pregnancy, homosexuality, sexual molestation, bullying, racism, and I could go on.  It is written on the lines of such breathtaking TV series as “The Fosters”, “Secrets and Lies”, and “Parenthood”.
